Henry Spinetti

Biography

Henry has worked in all areas of the music business for over 40 years - Concerts/tours, recording on over 100 albums, TV & Radio, film music, and has played with a never-ending list of artists.

Henry is touring in 2012 with Katie Melua and has been for the past 9 years, and has played on all her albums 'Call off the Search', 'Piece by Piece', 'Pictures', ' The House' and her new album 'Secret Symphony'. In 2006 Henry achieved a Guinness World Record for performing with Katie Melua in the deepest concert in the world, 303m below sea level, at the bottom of the Troll A platform in the North Sea.

Henry was in the house band with Eric Clapton for the 'Concert for George' at the Albert Hall in 2002. Henry is in the Eric Clapton band for various events including - charity New Years Eve concert every year, TV Jools Holland Show, Buckingham Palace.

Concerts/tours include - Katie Melua, Concert for George, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Bill Wyman, Neil Sedaker, Cliff Richard, Gary Brooker, Procol Harum, Mike Batt, Joan Armatrading, Andy Fairweather-Low, Roger Chapman.

Recording/albums include - Katie Melua, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Jones, Bill Wyman, Pete Townsend, Roger Daltry, Labi Siffri, Mike Batt, Joan Armatrading, Andy Fairweather -Low,The Herd, Leo Sayer, Gerry Rafferty, including the single 'Baker Street'.

Film/TV music include - Concert for George, Cemetery Junction, Lethal Weapon, Color of Money, Just like Heaven, Miss Potter, Nancy Drew, and TV series Watership Down.
