The main feature of this Artist Snare Drum is the massive, 27 ply (and hence 28 mm thick) beechwood shell; this gives the snare a ‘hefty’ sound. It is deep, with lots of ‘bottom’, and yet transparent. Well suited for funk, fusion, jungle or electronic beats. The 24k gold-plated fittings, combined with a lustrous lacquer finish, are a real show stopper.
