SONOR celebrates 70th anniversary of company relocating to Aue

April 23, 2016 marks another important historic milestone for the SONOR company. On that date 70 years ago, April 23 in 1946, the company (founded in 1875) relocated from its original location in Weißenfels/Saale to Bad Berleburg-Aue (Northrhine-Westphalia).

Consul Otto Link, owning the family business after his father and company founder Johannes Link passed away, re-started the company with the help of his son Horst Link after World War II in the new location. The hard work should soon pay off and the family established the company to its old size. A true pioneer work and story of success, that has not lost any of its fascination till this day.

Backed up by this unique history, Managing Directors Stefan Althoff and Karl-Heinz Menzel are leading the company since nearly two decades in the spirit of the founding father.
