Sonor, one of the world's leading drums and percussion manufacturers successfully introduced its new SQ1 series at the Musikmesse Frankfurt (5.-8. April 2017). Many visitors were triggered by the exclusive matte lacquer finishes, giving the SQ1 drums a very modern look.

The Sonor booth was well visited by interested drummers as well as Sonor enthusiasts. In addition to the professional booth in Hall 11, Sonor artists Chris Coleman and Jost Nickel performed on several locations at the Musikmesse, demonstrating Sonor´s high quality drums.

On the evening before the show, Chris Coleman presented a sneak preview of the SQ1 drums during a Facebook-live session watched by thousands of drummers around the world. Next to his performances in the Drum Camp, visitors were able to hear Chris play Sonor SQ1 drums in private sessions in the Drum Academy.

Daily performances of Jost Nickel on Sonor Vintage Series drums in the Drum Camp were also attended very well. Next to his performance on stage, Jost hosted daily Masterclasses at the Drum College.
