Brayden Becher is a Live & Studio Session Drummer from Melbourne Australia, best known for his work with the band Ghostsmoker, whose debut album has made waves in the global metal scene. Since its release, the record hit #1 on Bandcamp's metal chart in Australia and broke into the top 30 worldwide, holding the #1 spot for doom metal globally for an impressive stretch. In March, Ghostsmoker had the honor of supporting UK doom legends CONAN at Max Watts, Melbourne.
Brayden is also the drummer for acclaimed psychedelic rock band Jack Harlon & The Dead Crows, who are currently recording a new album for Blues Funeral Recordings and recently supported Greenleaf (Sweden). He also holds the drum chair in Melbourne stoner staples Holy Serpent and high-energy classic rockers Palace Of The King.
In addition to Ghostsmoker, Brayden recently performed on AGLO’s latest release—a project featuring members of Extortion, I Exist, Potion, and RUN—which soared to #2 on Bandcamp's doom and sludge metal charts. AGLO recently supported EyeHateGod (USA) in Sydney and Harms Way (USA) in Melbourne.Becher contributed drums to Reekmind, a doom act from Sydney with a release on Night Terrors, a Dutch Record label. 2025 continues to be a huge year, with upcoming tours in June with Grim Rhythm, an Indonesian tour in September, and a slot at Blacken Open Air. Brayden is soon to be releasing a new album with Jack Harlon & The Dead Crows in 2026, and has recently performed with ARIA-winner Karise Eden.
