He is one of the most sought-after drummers in the country. With a 30-year professional career, his recognition and prestige covers the Jazz scene (Sheila Jordan, Guillermo Klein, Ben Monder, Seamus Blake, Perico Sambeat…), Flamenco (Jorge Pardo, Juanfe Pérez, Diego Guerrero…) or HipHop (Kaseo Jazz Magnetism, Mala Rodríguez, Elphomega…) to name a few and is evident in his more than 2,500 concerts in festivals and main stages around the world in 20 countries (from the Blue Note and Lincoln Center in New York, the National Theater of Vietnam, or Estadio Obras in Buenos Aires to the National Auditorium of Madrid or the Liceu Theater in Barcelona), in his more than 60 recordings (with multiple awards for “Kaseo Jazz Magnetism” or his participation in two albums nominated for Latin Grammy for Best Flamenco Album), as well as in productions for artists as diverse as Antilopez or Elphomega.
As a teacher, he has taught classes for years at ELCAMM, now the Higher Jazz Center of Malaga, and Master classes at the Estudio Escola de Música (Santiago de Compostela), the Jazz Classroom of the University of Cadiz, the Higher Conservatory of the Balearic Islands (Mallorca), the Manuel Castillo Higher Conservatory (Seville), or the Universidad del Bosque (Bogotá, Colombia).
