Robert Brenner

Robert Brenner joined the German Military Music Corps in 1990 and studied Orchestral Music and Education at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf, Germany, passing with honour.

After being the principal Drummer of the Military Music Corps in Siegburg, Germany, Robert studied conduction class with Professor Wolfgang Trommer (General Musical Director Symphonic Orchestra, Aachen and Robert-Schumann-Hochschule, Düsseldorf). From 1997 to 2007 he was the leading Commissioned Officer for the Music Corps High School, Drum Department, the Big Band and one of the Symphonic Orchestras of the Military Music Corps.

Besides his career within the German Military Music Corps, he wrote the highly acclaimed book "Rudimental Vocabulary" and is one of the experts when it comes to Rudimental Drumming, Basler Drumming and the Moeller Technique.

Currently, Robert is the Chief Deputy of the German Military Music Corps.
