Simon was born in Switzerland in 1984, started playing drums at the age of 12.
At the age of 18 he decided to attend a professional drum school (Agostini Drum Academy), which he graduated with distinction.
Since then Simon has been involved in many projects (Pop, Rock, Big Band).
In 2007 he joined the swiss alternative rock band "REDEEM".
He toured with REDEEM as headliner through Switzerland & Germany and as support act for various bands like 3 Doors Down, Chris Daughtry, Seether, Three Days Grace, Gotthard, Die Toten Hosen, throughout Europe.
Simon and REDEEM released their fourth album in autumn of 2019.
