A delegation from West Music, one of Sonor's strongest partners worldwide, as well as the US Orff product manager, visited the factory in Bad Berleburg to talk about strategic and product ideas, learn about the manufacturing process and meet the team in Germany.
West Music was founded in the 1940s and is located in Coralville, IA, United States. In 2016, West Music had over 200 Associates, seven regional locations in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois including repair, lessons, and Music Therapy services, and multiple e-commerce websites and catalog departments.
The West Music delegation included Robin Walenta, President and CEO, Judy Pine, VP General Music and Randy Hargis, General Music Sales Manager. The group was accompanied by Tim Henry, Orff Product Manager, KHS America.
Robin Walenta was also just announced as the new Chair of NAMM’s Board of Directors, as per the vote held at the recent Summer NAMM show. Congratulations!
