Mario has been one of the most sought‑after drummers in the German music scene for many years. His musical development was shaped by studies, lessons and masterclasses with internationally renowned teachers such as Claus Hessler, Dieter Steinmann, Chris Maldener, Jim Chapin, Steve Smith and John Robinson. After completing the Professional Program at the Future Music School with a diploma, he joined the faculty himself and later led workshops at the University of Music and Dance Cologne, the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück and the SAE Institute Frankfurt. Today, he teaches at Mainz University of Applied Sciences and serves as an online instructor for the platform Music 2 Me.
As a session drummer, Mario has contributed to numerous successful productions, including work for Sing meinen Song (TV & CDs, 2012–2025), Milow, Sarah Connor, Andreas Gabalier (MTV Unplugged), the Rilke Project, Xavier Naidoo, Gregor Meyle, Ulla Meinecke, Edo Zanki and many other well‑known artists.
Mario is also a highly in‑demand live performer on major stages and television shows. He has played for artists such as Michael Patrick Kelly, Mark Forster, Yvonne Catterfeld, Stefanie Heinzmann, Sasha and Laith Al‑Deen, and has appeared on productions including The Voice of Germany, The Voice Senior and Dein Song. In addition, he has performed alongside international greats such as Andrew Strong, Eric Marienthal, Jimmy Haslip and Queen Esther Marrow.
Mario’s stylistic versatility, musical sensitivity and exceptional professionalism make him a highly respected and in‑demand musician – both in the studio and on stage.
