Norman Cilento

Norman Cilento was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina), and currently resides in Barcelona, Spain.

He graduated at the Technological Institute of Contemporary Music of Buenos Aires (ITMC). He studied Symphonic Percussion at the National Conservatory and took private lessons with distinguished teachers from Argentina such as Jorge Araujo and Fernando Martínez.

He played there with Pablo Porcelli (Fusion), with the Students Symphony Orchestra of Buenos Aires, with Pasado Violento (Rock Fusion), Alejandro Kauderer (Jazz), Santiago Greco (Rock), among others. In 2002 he moved to Barcelona, continued his studies with teacher Aldo Caviglia and joined the band Sol Lagarto for eleven years, recording five albums and touring with them all over the country, sharing stages with artists such as: Paul Di Anno (ex Iron Maiden), Quireboys, Sepultura, Raging Slab, Nashville Pussy, Barón Rojo, Hanoi Rocks, M Clan, Edgard Winter, Jarabe de Palo, Fito y Fitipaldis and with the mythical Whitesnake. At the same time he worked on TV with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Estopa, Chenoa, etc.

In 2015 he is called by the "Taller de Musics de Barcelona" to teach there. He also joins the rock band GIANT REV with whom he has just recorded the first album, combining this with private teaching and playing in Manel Fuentes & The Spring Team Band, and in different musical projects in Barcelona.
