Armin Schoepfer is a Swiss drummer and was born in 1988 in Lucerne. He discovered his passion for drumming, at the age of 3. In 2016 he played at the Swiss Drum Festival and his performance earned the respect of the Swiss drumming community. After completing his studies, he applied himself to various musical projects, one of which was teaching students professional drumming with a focus on attitude and drum sound. Now with his own drumming school, "Discover the Groove“ in Switzerland, he passes on his knowledge and technical know-how to others.
His playing style is defined by creativity combined with flexible and individual expression.With his style and understanding of modern drumming, he is able to adapt to different styles allowing him to work with a variety of artists. He has toured Germany with Raggae artists like Raggabund and De Luca and recorded songs on their albums. He is currently playing with Loco Escrito, a popular Swiss Raggaton / Latin Pop artist. He is also playing to sold-out concerts and in the largest music festivals in Switzerland e.g. Moon and Stars in Locarno.
