James Chapman is an active professional drummer from the UK working as both a studio and live session musician, and in 2015, became the drummer for the Metal band "Collapse".
After picking up the drumsticks for the first time at age 13, James became immediately obsessed with the instrument. After leaving school he went on to study at Drumtech in London - one of Europe's leading contemporary music schools. Since then James had recorded in some of the countries top recording studios and played with multi-platinum selling artists.
Although known for his power and drive within the more aggressive styles of music, his versatility and musicianship has seen him recording and touring with artists from a huge variety of styles and genres.
James as an individual performer has demonstrated his unique drumming skills in drum workshops, seminars and masterclasses in UK and at many international music trade shows.
In addition to James' performance work, he is also known as a teacher, producer and composer.
