Jan was born in 1991 in the famous university town Marburg located in Germany and he has been playing drums since his 7th year of life.
Since then Jan gained a lot of stage and studio experience and played shows in small clubs as well as up to big open-air shows in front of several thousand people.
In 2012 he was awarded the second place at "Germany Rock & Pop-Award" in the category "best drummer". Today Jan is not only touring with various musicians & bands but also plays Radio- and TV-Shows (e.g. with Natasha Bedingfield, LAUV, Andi Grammer).
