Ji-Hyun Kim

Drummer Ji-Hyun Kim has started his music career recording the Y2006 compilation album. He has been a trainee for a long time, after meeting an active producer in CCM he eventually became a drummer.

Most of the albums he recorded are from the CCM genre but he has also participated in Korean pop music. Nowadays he can be found in recording, live performances but also producing albums for new talents. There are more than 30 albums which he has participated in to this day. He is active in Japan, touring with CCM artists and is a member of the CCM audition program house band.

In 2009, he participated for "C.M.F.", a CCM Festival. In 2007, he joined the house band for the musical "Tell me on a Sunday" and since then, he performed with top Korean musical actors and actresses on live gala shows. Furthermore, he was the live drummer for famous Korean singers Young Hyun Lee, JK Kiim Dong Wook, S.E.S., and performs for live worship sessions for big churches.

He has performed a vast number of live concerts and hundreds of live worships. In March 2015, he has release his first single "Journey's Neo Soul", and works actively under his new name, "Journey Kim".

Still being an active performer, he has entered one of the top universities for applied music, the KyungHee Art Fusion Design graduate school, where he graduated with master's thesis on "Thesis on David Garibaldi funk drum style - With special emphasis on his 1970s 'Tower of Power' recordings -". Presently, he lectures at 2 music university, "MyungJi" and "HanIl JangShin" and also manages the music academy "Music Block".
