I was born and raised in St. Gallen, a town in the Eastern part of Switzerland, not far from the Lake Constance. At the age of three years I played the first time the drums, since then I can’t imagine leaving without drumming or music in general. My heroes are Steve Jordan, Ian Paice, Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, Tony Williams, Jost Nickel and Benny Greb. I successfully completed my Bachelor studies at the Swiss Music Academy in Oberglatt / Switzerland and after that, my Master studies at the HKB Bern / Switzerland. Besides my passion for drumming / music I love to teach, share my knowledge and experience with others. I’ve been teaching for five years and I love to see the joy and progress my pupils make.
As a musician I’m part of several bands. Besides others I’m on tour with Pigeons on the Gate and Mo Klé. I truly believe that music is a language everybody understands, it brings people together, no matter what colour of skin they have, how old they are or what nationality they have. It is important for me to advance myself, to learn from all the different experiences and to work hard. I love the challenge and I never want to stand still.
