Pete McMillan is the drummer for Australian hard rockers Black Aces. Having grown up on a healthy diet of blues, rock and punk music thanks to his father and brother.
Being dragged along to one of his brothers many band practices, Pete saw the guy at the back, making the most noise, the drummer, and from that point playing the drums is what he wanted to do.
Pete's style is heavily influenced by blues and classic rock, AC/DC are a particular favourite and the solid swinging beat of Phil Rudd has served as a template for his drumming ever since he first heard Let There Be Rock.
Pete joined Black Aces just before their first Australian tour, since then they have toured Australia countless time, whilst most recently taking their brand of Aussie rock to the UK and Europe in support of their debut album.
