Tiago started his music classes with music teacher Mr José Dias at Golegã Music Conservatory.
At the same time he started his drums lessons with renowned Portuguese Drumer, Vicky Marques. Then, in Lisbon he attended the Jazz school, Hot Clube where he studied drums with Bruno Pedroso and Jorge Moniz.
He carried on his career and studies by attending the famous school Drummers Collective in New York City.
Since then Tiago has worked with famous musicians and bands such as Imperio dos Sentados, Mafalda Veiga, Padre José Luis Borga, Micaela, Corvos, Leahskin Jazz Quartet, among others.
