Ben Scott

Ben Scott is a London based drummer and musical director. He approaches all work with huge optimism and energy. Whether it's laying down the drums on Ed Sheeran's multi-platinum selling debut album, co writing the lead single from American singer Alex Winston's debut album, working in the studio with award winning producer Charlie Hugall, or touring around Europe.

Ben began at age 3 with a selection of pots and pans, eventually moving up to the drum set on his 7th birthday. Working up an appetite for pop music in his teens and making bi-annual trips to Germany to study under greats Steve Smith, Russ Miller, and Thomas Lang (Musikakademie Marktoberdorf). Ben concurrently studied the undergraduate syllabus at Leeds College of Music with teacher Nick Katuzonek, before making the move to Guildford to achieve a BA Honours degree at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

Based in Camberwell, London, Ben is currently involved in a brand new project signed to RCA, working with MD Kojo Samuel (Jessie J, Plan B, Katy B, Tinchy Stryder).
