United Kingdom Rock

Dane Campbell

Dane Campbell is a rock drummer from Wales and currently plays for his band Straight Lines. Founded in 2009 they have released two albums via Xtra Mile Recordings (Frank Turner, Reuben), 'Persistence In This Game' (2010) and the critically acclaimed 'Freaks Like Us' (2012).

The music scene knows Dane best as a rock drummer. Anyhow, he has recently been experimenting with various styles and most notably recorded sessions for Gavin Butler (The Blackout) on his split acoustic album 'Ghosts and Echoes' in 2012.

Currently receiving airplay on BBC Radio One and Kerrang! Radio in the UK, Straight Lines are gradually becoming one of the hottest rock acts in the country. They have toured with bands ranging from The Subways and Twin Atlantic to The Presidents of the USA and Motorhead. That all along with already making appearances at major festivals like Download and Sonisphere - the future looks bright!
