Dave Langguth
Most recently the music scene know him for touring with Nelly Furtado. But currently, Dave resides in Toronto where he teaches and maintains a constant performance schedule locally.
He attended the Berklee College of Music. There he studied with Victor Mendoza, John Ramsey, Skip Hadden and Ed Kaspick. In 1993 following his studies, he moved to Halifax and broke into the scene with such artists as Dutch Mason, Brett Ryan and Wayne Nicholson.
5 years later, Dave found himself living in Toronto performing with the likes of Sass Jordan, Alannah Myles, The Kings, Rik Emmett. Most recently he shared the stage with Grammy award-winning pop star Nelly Furtado.
While being on the road with Nelly, Dave has also performed with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. He has had numerous television appearances worldwide. These include Jay Leno, David Letterman, Regis & Kelly, Much Music, MTV, The View, Carson Daly, Extra and Concert for Diana. He was also featured at the Montreal Drum Festival 2004 and 2007.
He has also appeared in articles in Drums Etc. (Cover Story), Modern Drummer and DRUM! Magazine. He is an active player, educator and clinician.
