A top drummer and percussionist in the Japanese music scene. His professional career started when he was 17 years old. He joined various bands such as ''ORQUESTA DE LA LUZ'', ''BINGOBONGO'', ''JIVE JAMBOREE'' and many more.
He recorded a number of famous records from the 1980s to 1990s. His current activities include ''ORQUESTA DE LA LUZ'' which reunited in 2002, also he finds time to perform various live sessions and recording for many artists such as ''Yamazaki Masayoshi'', ''bird'', ''Moday Michiru'', ''Ketsumeishi''. In 2010, he was appointed as "Miyakojima –Island Ambassador" by Miyakojima City, Okinawa. In 2011, he celebrated the 30th anniversary of his musicianship.
