Hideo Yamaki

Hideo Yamaki met Hideo Ichikawa in 1974 and went to Tokyo to join his trio. He had enjoyed many session with various top musicians.

In 1978, he formed "MARIAH", then participated in "KEEP" and "WATANABE KAZUMI BAND". Also he has been longtime drumming for "KONDO TOSHINORI & IMA" for their European Tours. He played with Arto Lindsay, John Zorn, Sakamoto Ryuichi,  Hosono Haruomi, David Sylvian, Bill Laswell and many others. His work as a drummer has taken him all around the globe, making him one of Japan's undisputed Top-Drummers of all times.

In 2012 he released "Chaos" - a Duo project, along with Misawa Mataro on percussion.
