Phil Sokha

Phil was born in Sevastopol. He begun to study music at the age of 6 (violin, percussion) In Murmansk. At the age of 16 he formed the band X-System along with friends.

From 2002 to 2003, he served in the military oracle of the Honor Guard in Kiev, where he acquired education as a Marching drummer and Drummer in a band. In 2006 he accepted an invitation from legendary Russian rock group Lea.

With Der he works with until 2011, recording 3 records. In 2011, having obtained a diploma of a specialist in electro-mechanics, Phil moved to Moscow where he became a finalist of a Drumming Coontest, as well as in 2012.

Phil is steadily practicing his skills and teaches. He has learned from masters drummers such as Virgil Donati, Dennis Chambers, Morgan Agren, Damien Schmitt.
