"I did my first pro tour in January 1960 with Gary US Bonds, Gene McDaniels and Johnny Burnett. I went on from there to work/tour with: The Walker Brothers,  Scott Walker, Billy Fury, Dusty Springfield, Gene Pitney, Roy Orbison, Mark Wynter, Jess Conrad, Marty Wilde, The Kestrals.

Other visiting American artists I played for were Johnny Cash, Gene Vincent & Carl Perkins. British artists: Cliff Richard, Ritchie Blackmore (his early bands), Rick Wakeman, Ronnie Wood, Jack Bruce, Des O'Conner, Bruce Forsyth.

Toured and recorded with Roy Orbison, The Walker Brothers, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins. Also toured and recorded "Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa" Gene Pitney. And tours and couple of albums with the wonderful Dusty Springfield. I toured Europe with The James Royal Set. We had two No1 hits "Call My Name" and "She's About A Mover".

Then followed a funk/fusion band called Nightlife. Round about 1995 I came off the road for while and started teaching privately and for Guildhall School of Music also doing clinics/workshops and corporate events. The year 2000 saw me back on the road with the Diana Terry Big Band. 2008 Paul Saxby Album, Tour. 2009 Pete Mitchells DRIVE. 2010/11 Independent, back to teaching privately and Grade Exams Trinity Guildhall 2011 Howlin Blues, Blue Thunder. 2012 Sticks and Stones, Powerhouse."
